Come and step into sacred space in the joy of community, and nourish yourself at the deepest level of your being.

By pausing to draw inspiration and wholeness from divine love through the gentle awakening of all the senses, participants will go forth with grace, strength, and renewed vitality to continue on life’s sacred journey.

This will be a time of prayer and art-making, silence and dynamic conversation, self-care, and connection to community. Sessions will include reflections and teachings from Colette’s book, The Divine Heart, as well as contemplative practices such as Visio Divina, walking meditation, sacred poetry, and spiritual journal writing.

Living in the flow of God’s love is the very purpose of life and the way to healing, greater inner freedom, and a deep sense of peace.

The retreat includes art materials and a copy of The Divine Heart

Participants may begin to arrive Friday afternoon after 3pm.

Dinner will be at 5:30pm - 6:30pm. The retreat will begin at 7pm.

Colette Lafia is a San Francisco-based writer, spiritual director, and retreat leader. She is the author of The Divine Heart (May 2021), Seeking Surrender, and Comfort and Joy. She has a passion for helping people connect more deeply with the presence of the sacred in daily life. Mary Loebig Giles is Pastor of Action and Contemplation at Common Table SF, a Fellow at Newbigin House of Studies, and head of development at Sunset Youth Services, a nonprofit serving vulnerable and disconnected youth. She organizes immersive experiences that awaken the heart and foster contemplative community.
