We are pleased to announce the reboot of Lay All Your Books on Me Author Event in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, at the historic Renaissance Cleveland Hotel!

This is a one day event with two ticketed activities including a Saturday author signing featuring over 50 authors and a Saturday Night After Party, with a theme borrowed from music and songs from the Mamma Mia movies!

We are very excited about the host hotel! Originally built in 1918, the Renaissance Cleveland is a local landmark. Stylish and sophisticated with architecture that reflects the area’s unique style and rich history, it's ideally located Downtown near Public Square and connected to Tower City Center, the hub of Downtown Cleveland’s nightlife and attractions, featuring an array of boutiques, restaurants, and a movie theater. Catch a Cleveland Cavaliers game at the Q (Quicken Loans Arena) or see the Cleveland Indians baseball team at Progressive Field; both are a short walk away. Plus, Jack Cleveland Casino is connected to the hotel via Tower City. Experience the best of Downtown while staying in modern rooms with upscale amenities and elegant decor. Elevated in every way, the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel features vaulted ceilings, high-arched windows, a stunning marble fountain, a magnificent Grand Ballroom, and an Exhibit Hall that is perfect for our event! Cleveland's rapid transit system is accessible via Tower City and is a less than 30 minute ride to and from the airport for only $2.50 per ride.

Social distancing practices will be in effect consistent with current requirements in Cleveland including a mask mandate and a limit of large gatherings capped at 300, so buy those tickets before they sell out!

Also, Cleveland is beautiful in the summer, so stay a day or two extra to gamble at the Jack Casino, visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (currently open by advance ticket purchase online only), or check out the Christmas Story movie house!
