Thompson Technique with Dr Sheridan Kay

Running from Saturday 1pm till 5pm then Sunday 9am - 5pm

Thompson Technique is one of the worlds most used Chiropractic Techniques. It's safe, gentle and loved by both practitioners and patients alike worldwide. Only a few people are trained as instructors and Dr Sheridan Kay is one of the worlds best!

Locally grown talent, Dr Sheridan learned much of what she knows from her late Father Dr Alan Brady who was the Thompson Technique founders (Dr Clay Thompson's) right hand man. Dr Alan Brady who practiced most of his life in Albury-Wodonga, studied under Dr Thompson and taught the technique in Australia and around the world, passing the baton to his daughter (Dr Sheridan) and we couldn't be more excited to bring her back to Australia from New Zealand to teach you pure Thompson Technique. Dr Sheridan Kay’s teaching experience spans 20 years including head lecturer for the Thompson Technique at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. She has taught seminars with her father Dr Alan Brady, Dr Rob Jackson and conducted her own seminars and workshops in both Australia and New Zealand. A Life University (USA) graduate and formerly from Victoria, Sheridan’s knowledge and presentation of the Thompson Technique is unparalleled.

Dr David Cahill - one of Australia's greatest chiropractors - has allowed us to use his practice in Malvern so that we have access to state of the art tables that allow us to practice the technique with both hands on and theoretical tuition over the one and half days.

Learn correct use of your table, analysis, neurology, adjusting techniques, contraindications and get hands on practical experience start using Monday.

There will be Zenith Chiropractic tables on hand for instruction throughout the weekend. The seminar will focus on cervical and pelvic adjusting using the Thompson Terminal Point technique protocol, correct application of Derifield analysis, lines of correction, the “5-categories” of pelvic and cervical presentations, patient safety and contraindications.

This program has been assessed by the Australian Chiropractors’Association, an approved assessing body of the Chiropractic Board of Australia, and allocated 13 Formal Learning Activity Hours.

Certification: This seminar contributes to the three (3) necessary Thompson seminars required to sit for competency certification in the Thompson Terminal Point Technique.
